Warning to Snakes

Attention all snakes in the Texas Hill Country: Do not attempt to bite my sister or this is what will happen to you!

Good grief! My sister calmly writes to tell us that a snake struck her in the shoulder this morning as she was gathering eggs! Thankfully, it didn't break the skin. And also thankfully, her husband was home to come shoot it. Although her son could have handled it and for that matter, she could have herself.

Come to find out it's a rat snake. But since it wasn't limiting it's diet to rats, it had to go.
