Leroy was our master of ceremonies.
Dottie Beene designed our set. It is adorable!
We even had a hound dog for a prop!
Gayle sang for us.
Here we are.
This little boy's daddy is the preacher for a cowboy church. He loves to sing one of Sandra Dee's songs.
Here they are singing together.
Sandra Dee was, of course, the star of the show. Her music is a real blessing.
T-Bone Fontenot is our preacher, and he came along to play bass. He bought those boots earlier in the day and proudly showed them off.He also sang a couple of songs, but I don't have a picture of him at the mic.
Actually, we all had something to show off. Tana and I got matching hats. Dalton and Dylan (T-Bone's grandson) got matching hats and hatbands.
We had such a wonderful time! It was the first time we'd ever been on stage like that, but we had done a lot of praying, and our jitters were kept to a minimum.
In fact, the whole previous week, every one of us who performed had all kinds of problems. We finally realized we were under spiritual attack and we promptly started praying, in groups, and together over the phone. Every one of us had some kind of illness, but we all sang and had a wonderful time in the Lord.
Rowdy wasn't a bit nervous and in fact, he may have found his calling. There were a lot of jokes flying around the stage, and Rowdy just fit right in, telling anecdotes and joking with the MC. I'm so proud of him!
