Tana's birthday is this Saturday. We have a big shindig planned, with two families coming over to ride horses, play games, and have a cookout. This exciting event has motivated Tana to get the house really, really clean! She has worked a little bit daily for over two weeks on this! (Please do not draw any unflattering conclusions as to the condition my house was in.)
She has scrubbed the stove, cleaned off the washer and dryer, organized, straightened, swept, and threatened everyone with bodily harm if they messed anything up! I'm so proud of her! She has planned ahead by looking at how many days she has left and figuring out what has to be done.
Just shy of her 13th birthday, Tana has shown maturity and serious housekeeping skills! Did I mention I'm proud of her?
