We were at a friend's house for a cookout the other night. I went out on the patio and said "friend" tells me, "We've decided you're not quite as redneck as the rest of us." (No, but my ears are red from y'all talking about me!)
Yeah, says I, I've spent too many years out of Texas, I guess.
"That's okay, we forgive you," says he.
I don't know whether to be insulted or relieved! (Actually, I know he was teasing, and I'm happy with myself as I am - partially red neck and all.) ;-)
