I've only had one lesson so far, but I've done a lot of practicing, and I'm loving it! The violin has strings G, D, A, E and the viola has C, G, D, A. Three strings are the same, so I've been able to practice out of Tana's book. I'm trying to catch up to her.
I can already see that it's made it a lot more fun for her when I'm practicing, too. She can correct me at times, and I can clown around to help her keep her spirits light. Sometimes she gets very frustrated and then there are tears. My practicing with her tends to keep that from happening.
